1. The Kirk Session requests that a period of quiet reflection take place when the Minister and Choir enter the Church prior
to the start of the Service, and that during the Offering the opportunity is taken to spend a few minutes in silent thought.
Please ensure that mobile phones are switched off. The Congregation’s support would be greatly appreciated.
2. Anyone requiring the services of the minister, please speak to Rev. Neil Buchanan personally or through M. Hanna at the
Church Office.
3. Morning worship next Sunday at 10.30 am.
4. The flowers this morning have been donated by Mrs Neilson
5. Tea and coffee in the John Callaghan Hall after worship today.
6. Puppet Club will meet after the service until 12.15 pm.
7. Congregational Board meeting on Thursday at 7 pm and the Kirk Session meet on the same evening at 8 pm. Please
check and clear pigeonholes.
8. Mid-Week Worship will start on Wednesday 28th March at 7. 30 pm. and will continue on the last Wednesday of
March, April, May, June, September, October and November.
9. A Lent Study Group will be held in the vestry on Monday 27th February at 7. 30 pm and will continue to meet each
Monday evening until 2nd April. We will be studying Mark's Gospel and will be using a study guide. If you intend to
come along, please speak to Neil about ordering a study guide.
10. World Day of Prayer on Friday 2nd March at 2pm in Moncreiff.
11. Caring Group Family Social on Saturday 17th March at 6 pm. Come along and enjoy the fellowship and fun at our
family social. Dance to the music of accordionist Gary Blair, play games organised by our own Agnes, Karen and
Alison and enjoy the delights of a fish supper or happy meal. Compere Bill McDougall. The evening is suitable for all
ages.
Tickets (adults £6/children £3) will be on sale at the Caring Group table from Sunday 26th February and will also be
available at the Church Office.
12. Moncreiff Messenger. We are now looking for articles for the Spring/Easter edition of Moncreiff Messenger (The Church
Magazine). Articles on behalf of an organisation or from individuals relating to life in Moncreiff will be most welcome.
Preferably, please send these articles in soft form by email to ewen.mckinnon@blueyonder.co.uk or on paper to the
magazine editor.
Last date for submission of articles - Friday 23rd March.
13. To date the Fabric Appeal has raised just over £6.300 - a great effort. Thank you to all who contributed.

15. Prayer Meeting on Tuesday at 10. 30am in the vestry.
16. Guild meets on Tuesday at 7. 30pm Their guest speaker is Ms Isobel Black "Legal Services".
17. Badminton on Wednesday at 1. 30pm New members will be made very welcome.
18. Yoga on Wednesday at 3. 30pm.
19. There will be a Third World meeting on Tuesday 21st February at 7.30pm.

22. Creche duty next Sunday - S. Haazen & C. Catlin. New creche rota is available from creche this morning.
23. Book Table: £20 has been raised from the book table bringing this year's total to £150.00. Last year we raised £1,100
and in 2010 £1,040.
24. Raising funds through Amazon: Many thanks to those who have been ordering goods through the Amazon link on
the Intimation page of the website. Since 1st January 2012 we have raised £21.09. Please continue to use the link
throughout the year to keep earning funds for Moncreiff.
25. Coffee Shop will be open on Monday - Friday, 10 - 11.30 am for tea/coffee, hot buttered toast/fruit loaf of biscuits. Why
not support us by coming along to meet friends and have a chat?
